College Hockey News is published with the goal of providing the most comprehensive news, statistics, information and analysis of college hockey available anywhere.
CHN's staff includes professionals who have worked in journalism for decades, and who have covered college hockey for over 20 years.

Adam Wodon has been covering college since 1988, and has since been the play-by-play broadcaster for Princeton and Cornell, and in professional hockey. He worked at USCHO.com for nine years, and on College Sports Television's regular college hockey coverage for three years. In addition to 15 years in the radio and newspaper business, he has also worked for ESPN, including work on the 2004 Frozen Four game broadcasts, and 2003-05 NCAA Tournament Selection Shows.
Mike Machnik has been covering college hockey since 1986. In 1989 he started the first ever Internet resource devoted to the sport, HOCKEY-L, and followed that in 1996 by helping to start the first web site for college hockey, USCHO.com, where he worked for nine years. He has also spent 14 years broadcasting Division I hockey on radio and television, receiving a regional award from the Associated Press for mid-market radio coverage and another award from the Associated Press for television coverage in 2008. He has written for The (Lawrence, Mass.) Eagle-Tribune, broadcast NCAA regional and Frozen Four games in the late 1990s and hosted Frozen Four pregame shows in 2001 and 2002.
Avash Kalra, News Editor, is a 2005 graduate of Cornell University. He has been covering college hockey for three years, as a features and game writer.
Tom Douglis is a writing contributor for CHN. The former editor of College Hockey Magazine and former public relations coordinator for USA Hockey, he has also freelanced for UPI, ESPN, WFXT-TV, USCHO.com, The Sporting News, the Minneapolis Star Tribune, The St. Paul (Minn.) Pioneer Press, the Milwaukee Journal, Hockey Canada and the Rocky Mountain News.
